But here's what I wonder about. There is fluid coming from my ear and my ear feels clogged (like I'm...

2 Years with Tinnitus — I Returned to My Normal Life

I feel more sensitivity to sounds now, but I don't actually know if that is because I care more about my ears now or not. But I haven't felt any jaw pain or facial numbness, or I haven't recognized any change in that at least. In the beginning I got jaw pain after I had slept, because I...

2 Years with Tinnitus — I Returned to My Normal Life

Hi! I’m a 21 year old man. I have always been that guy that didn’t care at all for loud music and sounds. But one day, for around two and a half year ago I woke up, and there was this high pitched tone in one of my ears. I have had it before, but that was after I had been to the nightclub...

I Have Visited Nightclubs — No Spikes

I put them very deeply, and well you can see them if you look from the right angle, otherwise no. But I have hair over my ears, which make it even harder to see the earplugs. But don't care if people comment about that you use earplugs, because that type of people isn't people you want to hang...

Poll: How Old Were You When You First Got Tinnitus?

Hello! Why can't you do that? Why would the tinnitus stop you from doing that? I didn't party for like 4 months when I got tinnitus, but now I am back where I was before (of course I use earplugs while partying) I got tinnitus like 1-2 weeks before my 19-birthday and now I am 19 :)

I Ate Raw Spaghetti with Earplugs, Can This Worsen My Tinnitus?

Hello TT! So I was in a competition at a party where we ate raw spaghetti as fast as possible, while I had earplugs. Can this worsen my tinnitus? (This happening 3 hours ago, don't know if my tinnitus is worse because of that or the alcohol... Can it only be a temporary spike?)

Do I Need to Use Earplugs in This Activity? (Summer Toboggan)

The downside of it is that you have this "bouncing", try to plug your ears and jump on the ground. I think it will be like the same thing. And no I don't wear earmuffs because I am going to wear a helmet :) But why do you think that this can worse my T?

Do I Need to Use Earplugs in This Activity? (Summer Toboggan)

Hi! I am going to like a "rollercoaster" activity this weekend, but it's not a rollercoaster (I don't know the english word for it)... Here's a video of what it is: I will do this thing maybe 5-10 times, and one ride takes like 2 minutes. But my question is, as the title, do I need to use...

I Was Stupid and Around a Loud Child Last Night. Please Tell Me This Is Just a Spike!

Stop protecting your ears to much. Yelling can't increase tinnitus, if the kid was screaming right into your ear, then it maybe can increase. Only wear earplugs if you need it, like on conserts. "Normal daily sounds" is a part of your life, you can't protect your ears from everything because...

    Can Nicotine Increase/Worsen Tinnitus Permanently?

Is it the "smoke" that cause this or the nicotine? Because in my country (Sweden), we have something called snus, a tobacco-product that you put under your lips. Then you don't get the smoke, only the nicotine
