@GCS root canal was short but vert loud. It gave my Spike and 10db hearing loss over the One I had already. T faded to 2/10 still almostdeaf

root canal 10 days ago. Only2min drill. Had Spike After 4 days, had few episodes when my hearing disappeared for minutes

I tried having a root canal one week ago. The drill was too loud. I stopped It. 4 days later I got a spike. I am still having that spike (8th day at the moment). I hope it will fade.

Don't give up. I started to feel a bit better after 10 months from the onset.

Reactiveness never resolved. I had many spikes and setbacks in these years, but all of them went away. At the moment I have a spike and I'm a bit worried because this is the first time I have it for no reason.

yes, very long time. I made all kind of medical test to understand what is my "problem", but except the old HL, I have nothing. My only problem atm is the fear of certain sounds (dishes over everything) and difficulty to fall asleep because even a mild T can become overwhelming in total silence

Me. My T started in 20/02/2017 and was severe, and faded to mild in 1 year. In 15/02/2018 an acoustic trauma made my T spike from mild to moderate; returned mild after 26 days.

my dad has my same hearing loss, maybe a bit worse but no tinnitus. hearing loss and tinnitus are not always connected.

yday night if I stayed in a particular position my T was low. The only way to keep it low is find a position and stay in a silence place, since it became more reactive.
