Struggling Recently: Reactive Tinnitus, Hyperacusis, and Clicking

I have an appointment with my ENT at the end of this month so hopefully I can get some answers then! There's a lot that has changed in my ears in the past five days :( I definitely know the cause of the spike and new tones back in January, and I hate that I made such a dumb mistake. I've kind...

I guess the only hope now is hair cell regeneration. *sigh* I'm rooting for AI now.

There's a certain frequency causing it (or many). I'm noticing it the most during traffic/running cars, running water, high winds, certain instruments, anything mechanical/electrical. This just started on Saturday, so I'm figuring it all out.

Struggling Recently: Reactive Tinnitus, Hyperacusis, and Clicking

Hi! I've been on the tinnitus journey for about 6-7 years with multiple periods of spikes and reaching habituation. This year has been ROUGH. It started off with my MEM episodes lowering some, but new tones in both of my ears appearing in January. Kind of hard to explain both of them, but the...

For Those with Middle Ear Myoclonus...

Hi Everyone, I've been living with MEM for about four years now. Mine is similar to people experiencing it to be sporadic and episodic. Over the past four years, there are periods of time where the spasms disappear for close to 6-8 months (this has happened maybe twice) but the spasms still...

Thank you for the support! Every bit helps. But recently my ENT specialist put me on a dose of prednisone after some ear wax removal in my ears. I've been able to sleep pretty well it's just that I seem more tired than usual. And my T keeps me from taking naps during the day now. :(

Hello all, My tinnitus is fairly new to me, and I've been having trouble on learning how to cope with it. But reading everyone's post on this forum has given me so much hope, and helps me forget the noise to some extent when reading. Always comes back. I just got my tinnitus over winter...
