    Tinnitus Aggravated by a Cold

Yes but these were loud concerts which I went to occasionally. What did as much damage was going out running or cycling when it was windy.

Not really unexpected loud sounds but I am trying to live to a certain degree while also being extremely cautious. Yes nothing masks my tinnitus so sleeping is becoming more difficult.

Just wondering why you came off Finasteride was it due to the side effects. Did it help you with your hair loss ? My client does hair transplants and he actually recommended this to me. None of his hundred of clients has had any adverse side effects from Finasteride. Were you on the lowest dose ?

Tinnitus and Hyperacusis from Deadlifting: New to All This

I have been seeing a chiropractor as I have been getting tension headaches due to hyperacusis. He found some tightness and knots on the right side of my neck. It is a long shot but hoping it can reduce the hyperacusis. I do think that, for some, fixing the neck may alleviate some of the impact...

    Does Most Tinnitus Go Away?

I think tinnitus goes away only for those that are young or those that are sensible enough to protect their ears after onset of tinnitus. For most of us on this forum it probably will never go away. Mine has got a lot lot worse as I am older and didn’t protect from the beginning.

Italy were fantastic and deserved to win. Devastated about the defeat but more upset about that brainless hooligans and racism. No I don’t go in but took the kids and it was chaos. Still it was a loud weekend with the chanting all over central London.

Ear Canal Burning — What's the Cause?

Yes I have ear burning but not all the time. It is connected to external noises. It is disconcerting when it happens like after a run (due to noise of traffic and wind) as you know your ears are in a bad state and not getting better. I have loudness hyperacusis.

Running (Exercise in General) and Tinnitus

Yes it does. Cycling with traffic and wind is just awful. With running I have changed my route to avoid cars but still come across some cars on my route though it’s fewer now. Running (Exercise in General) and Tinnitus

Tension headaches are caused by the loud tinnitus coupled with ear burning in my case. The last time I ran it had a wind speed of 9 mph and isn’t high but still high enough for anyone who suffers from hyperacusis. Unfortunately. I have had tension headaches for the past 9 days with very loud...

Running (Exercise in General) and Tinnitus

Running definitely has caused massive issues with my tinnitus and hyperacusis. I don’t think it’s the actual running that’s the problem but the cars that sometimes go past me and the wind speed. I think any wind speed over 5 mph causes me a problem. I have reluctantly stopped running for the...
