    Hydrochlorothiazide Causing Vertigo and Tinnitus?

Thanks. Come to find out that it also causes Gout, and I recently wound up in Emerg. because of it. They prescribed a gout med, and I followed up with my doc. informing her that Emergency told me (in writing) to get off of it immediately. She prescribed Amlodipine which can affect 0.1-1.0% of...

So what? They worked better than my Altec Lansings and a pair of Sony's that I had, and that's all that matters to me. Really, don't you have better things to do than worry about what kind of headphones are being used?

I'll throw this out while waiting for David to answer. I used Altec Lansings, a bit dated but were pricey when I got them, then switched to the Koss, seemed much better. I can't listen to it while sleeping, very light sleeper so I listen to it during the day, 3-4 hours. It has taken longer...

    My Tinnitus Seems Unique?

Very strange indeed. I've never heard of a case where it changes based on the sound being heard. Have you had the "clicky" jaw looked at? I've heard of teeth causing it, but only if someone grinds them during sleep. How's the anxiety these days? The tinnitus may clear up if you can get...

Poll: Is Your Tinnitus Louder When Wearing Earplugs?

My tinnitus is caused by concussion or ETD. Some nights my tinnitus is pretty loud and quiets right down when I put plugs in. However, I have been using foam earplugs for some odd 20 years as I'm a light sleeper. That may have something to do with it.

Has Anyone Used Eustachian Tube Exercisers for Ear Fullness?

So you don't know if you have ETD or not? No HBOT chambers for use in Nova Scotia that I'm aware of, and if there were it would be cost prohibitive. The Eustachi works for me and I'll stick with it, thanks. I haven't tried Gua Sha, but do practice some Qigong exercises with moderate success.
