Potassium ^ :) the ear is full of Potassium. Salt pushes Potassium out of your cells (all of them) all us humans are supposed to eat a lot more potassium than we do. It's definitely one thing we can improve

So many things can be wrong that most ENTs wont think of. You can have a low grade infection around the brain that lasts for.. ever until treated, tumours, compression of the spinal cord. All kinds of stuff.

It certainly didn't damage your hearing it's just the bass of the sound system in the movies messing with your hyper nervous system. You'll be fine in a day.

No clue.. my Tinnitus was level 9-10 on this sites loudness chart for a month and I have no hearing loss. Thankfully it's calming down as the months roll on. Almost 3 months in now and I've had a good 90% reduction. I'm taking a lot of NAC.. seems to be the key to victory for me

I did 40mg for over a week. starting at the end of my first week of tinnitus. Did nothing imho other than give me even more anxiety and less sleep (which was sleep I really needed). The original study is a complete joke as I said ^ because magnesium was included with the pred.

Tinnitus isn't about hearing loss though, it's about what the brain does about it and that takes a long time to sort itself out

That is normal Matty, it's because your central nervous system is ramped up, at that stage anything that isn't working 100% will be picked up as sound. Jaw, Neck usual suspects.

Seems like you are just having a fairly normal reaction to ear damage from the concert. Seems like nothing else is out of place in your life or health and you had enough magnesium :). I don't think it'll stick. You got lucky.

Well I just mowed the lawn... I don't have much choice with a pregnant wife and a house inspection coming. But I wore ear defenders and ear plugs. I got some somatic ringing but no worse than a little trip in the car. Took plenty of NAC beforehand. I think it'll be ok.
