Cause of Tinnitus
Not sure, stress, high frequency hearing loss, bruxism. ‍♀️
The inside of my head sounds like when you're between stations on Am/FM radio. oh Tinnitus. Maybe the aliens are trying to communicate with me because this crap is just WEIRD! The tones change daily, but today after my chiropractor adjusted my neck and back, it got much quieter and now it sounds like a staticky radio. Better than sounding like a screaming tea kettle or constant cicadas in my head.

You've had that constantly for 2 years? I've had it 2 months and I was hoping it would be gone soon.
No, when I first got it, it was very quiet and didn't bother me at all. I Rarely noticed it and sometimes didn't even need a fan to mask it. But after my wisdom tooth extraction on August 10th, It got louder.

So I guess your jaw or neck is jacked up then. I had a neck adjustment also a couple of weeks ago and it made the sound in my brain 20 times louder for 3 days. So I would guess most of the problem for me is my neck.

Have you ever thought about massage therapy? That's my next step. I feel so much tension in my neck and back every day. I also clench my jaw a lot and now my jaw isn't aligned. My top right teeth don't align with the bottom right so I'm going to have to look into that. My Orthodontist Said the grinding + wisdom tooth extraction could be what's causing the increase in tinnitus.

Anyway, I hope you find something that works for you. And I hope yours quiets. There are good days too. I find that doing things I like makes me forget out it, but stupid me goes looking for it when I don't hear it. Ugh.

When you get an adjustment, does it affect your mood? Either good or bad?
