Someone clapped hands so loud 1 meter from my ear. Instant T spike. I read loudest clap is 113db. however some say it reaches 130db worried!

Hello, The earplugs isn't the reason why you got tinnitus. It just happened by coincidence. You'd still have got tinnitus even without the earplugs or even if you hadn't gone to that gig.

When my T started it was either a tone or a hiss but never both at same time. Now it is hiss+static+high pitch tones all at the same time :(

I'm sorry to hear this. These tones used for censoring are sine waves at 1 kHz. Most loud horns are also around 1 kHz. I'm wondering if a censoring tone can spike your tinnitus. How about horns!?

Welcome back Telis! Do you have hearing loss that fluctuate? I remember I saw one post of yours saying you couldn't hear a 7 kHz sine wave while your girlfriend hears up to 15 kHz or something, and then after that you posted a photo of your audiogram results and had perfect hearing up to 8 kHz.

If the parents are both deaf the child has only 10% chance to get born deaf. Me, my mother at 60 can hear 19khz and me T with bad HL at 28!
