Sorry to hear this. I would stop or taper down as much medication as you can and start eating lots of healthy antioxidants. Keep the magnesium, that's about it. If I could go back, I would take no medication at all for anything, seriously.

Great to hear this and for taking the time to post it rather than drifting away, it shows some cases can improve or resolve. I am nearly four months in, and it feels better too. Sometimes the sound can go very shallow now.

Am trying not to take too many supplements, but I think a small magnesium supplement is a good idea. It's just like eating loads of dark green veg, good for nerves and will not do you any harm at all with a sensible dosage.

I still think if you can find a way through the worst of it, then things will get better. It could go away, it has for some, and there will be a cure one day, we just don't know when. The potassium based treatments look promising.

Not sure about classing HBOT as palliative. If the oxygen can repair the damage you talk about early on, this is maybe why some people do see improvements from HBOT inside the first few months?, even cured in some cases.

I think it's worth a go based on the evidence I have seen. I think the risks are very low, and there should be a professional in the dive with you. Main thing is to just equalise your ears as much as required. Even if there is a slim chance of improvement, I think it's worth a go.
