Hi. Check this youtube video out, it's a interview with the singer Ryan Adams. It sounds like he had similar problems to you. Have you tried to get a second opinion from another ENT doctor? Regards Pat

    Help!

Hi Chris Your doctor can give you some medication to help you deal with the panic attacks. I don't like taking Meds but it was the only thing that would help me calm down. Once the anxiety is under control your feel a lot better. I have to watch what I eat as certain foods can make it worse...

Hi Gaurav, I've had T for 7 weeks now, it's got louder the last couple of weeks. I had my first batch of soaked almonds today so I will see how it goes. I have problems sleeping so take zopiclone at night. When the anxiety hits me I take propranolol to help calm me down

Does Your Doctor Listen to Your Ears?

Short waiting times to see doctors that don't care. Though waiting 5-6 weeks to see a ENT Doctor is still a long time to me. All the consultants in the UK have there private patients that pay them a lot of money. The NHS patients that they have to see by law are, (not sure what % of hours they...

Does Your Doctor Listen to Your Ears?

That's very true Dr nagler. Though it's very difficult here in the UK. I asked the ENT Doctor today if he could refer me to someone who has experience with tinnitus. He didn't like the question and said we are all specialists

I'm not sure Robin. I had a hearing test today and they said my hearing is fine. It started in my right ear and stopped after a couple of days. 3 weeks later it started in my left ear and has been the same for 7 weeks now. I've had sinus problems for years but the ENT Doctor said there's no...

    Survey Results: Rate Your Tinnitus

I totally agree, they show no compassion at all. The more questions I asked the more annoyed he got. I'm not expecting a miracle cure but the arrogance shown by some in medical profession is very frustrating. I asked today if he could refer me to someone who specialised in treating tinnitus. He...

    Survey Results: Rate Your Tinnitus

Yea there reactions are very strange. I know here in the UK GPs (doctors) are very reluctant to refer you to the hospital. I had to make 3 visits to them before they grudgingly gave in. The ENT consultant I saw today was less than helpful, he couldn't wait to get me out of his office, he only...

I'm feeling very down. Went to see the ENT consultant today.they gave me a hearing test and said there's been no hearing loss since my last test 9 yrs ago. Hi Jonathan. I feel your pain. I've been suffering from T only for 6 weeks and the panic attacks have been awful. Yea it's very strange. I'm trying to find a pattern but can't seem to come up with one. I'm trying to cut out certain foods which might trigger a spike but it seems to make no difference. Hopefully my trip to the ENT consultant on the 2nd June might shed some light on it?
