14-Year-Old with Tinnitus Caused by Virus?

I feel like it has gotten a bit worse. I can hear it when I am in a class room and it has also gone to the right ear as well as the left. Do you think this is just the virus getting worse before starting to go?
Well the ringing has come back now. In both ears. My right ear just popped and it was like a static radio high pitched noise and it's not going away so I pretty much jinxed what I said.

I'm sorry to hear that, but it does take up to 6 weeks for the ear to heal. I don't hear it when I wake up, it's only like when I get to school and sit in lessons.

Mine is getting worse. I can hear it in both ears now and I thought it was getting better but it's just getting worse
Hopefully it will recover. Mine's starting to so yours could easily as well. Mine also got worse like yours and I had it in both ears, then after a few days it got more quiet and started to improve. If it is permanent, you will get used to it over time and it won't be as bad but you must not stress over it or think about it when you are asleep.

I'm stressing the hell out. it better not be permanent. It's making me depressed.

Nah, I can't hear it during the day, only when I'm asleep. I use ear plugs that somehow makes it quieter and I can sleep through that even though I am a light sleeper!
It's got worse now. It's so high pitched and it's over powering everything.

I use my headphones when Im on the computer for like 2 mins only when I need to in one ear at a VERY low volume and wouldn't even average 10 mins of use, is this ok?
You're really intent on using your headset. Make sure it is the lowest volume one can get too complacent

My dad said he has noticed the ringing starts to get worse when I am down or stressing. He said it's psychosomatic or something.

So I just went into my nan's bedroom then all of a sudden my right ear had a sharp high pitched ringing louder than I've had for the 4 weeks I've had the ringing. It lasted 20 seconds and then it went away.

Would not use any headphones ever again, plain and simple. Use regular speakers at minimal volume for any essential listening, and limit the time to only what is necessary.

I sleep with earplugs as well and find it helpful. The T quiets down after I put them in a few minutes later.

The problem is that I will have to use headphones for my future job. I'm either going into music or media and will have to use them and have to use them in school when composing music.

Turns out I actually have 2 ear infections and that the left ear is worse than the right and the doctor said that he is happy I wasn't screaming in pain because it looks so bad. He said the ringing was caused by dead skin cells or something hitting the ear drum and that music had nothing to do with it so I'm back on the Otomize for 2 weeks.
