25 Days with Tinnitus (So Far)

Congratulations. You're part of the majority that spontaneously recovers from T.
Does this mean a majority of people who have T will spontaneously recover, or a majority of T recoveries are spontaneous (but overall recovery rate is low)? Lol

A small update, so it was low to an inaudible level all afternoon yesterday, I could only very faintly hear it wearing earmuffs or in a silent room, it stayed that way until I woke up today where it got back to a moderate level. I didn't expect it to be 100% gone overnight because that's not how it works, so I kind of expected it, but I guess I will be having some moment of silence here and there in the following days until my tinnitus totally subside, I don't know how long that'll take, but at least I know I am on the way to recovery.

It kind of suck to wake up to the ringing nonetheless though. I hope to be 100% tinnitus free in the near future, time will tell.

@Mathieulh I honestly believe your ears will settle, what you are describing regarding your fluctuations sounds similar to what it was like for me 18 years ago. I then had ten years of silence after 3 to 4 months... Unfortunately it came back 2011... I also knew at the time, I had mild hearing loss in right ear and just on the moderate line hearing loss for the left ear. Still my tinnitus settled... Give it time, it is very early days yet.

After 20 ish days mine is doing similar. I think I did something bad noise wise by doing a hearing test after I first noticed the ringing on the 18th of last month. On the 22nd I did a high a couple of youtube high frequency hearing tests and turned the volume up on the headphones once the sounds were out of my hearing range (I'm nearly 50 and can only hear to around 12500khz.). In hindsight... this would have been an extremely loud silent sound right something like a smoke alarm when I was already developing a slight ring.. Not good, I'll just leave this here so no one makes that stupid mistake. The good news is that every night might tinnitus calms down to very close to zero. It takes all day to come down.. but it does come down. Hopefully there's improvement yet. I'm doing everything I can possibly do to fix the massively anxious state it put me into, put myself into a GABA food rich ketosis, taking magnesium, B-2, had a b12 shot and drinking camomile tea etc. I gave myself about a week of prednisone @40mg.. I think it stressed me more than helped. But I had to try. I have had two days in the last 2 weeks of complete resolution unless I do a crazy neck bend) (for about 8 hours each before it came back) But most days it's been constant until at least the very end of the day, my hyper sensitivity to sound is getting less as I get the anxiety under control.
