I can't understand why the tinnitus is present when I wake or not. The determining factor is waking.
It started for me after an ear infection last year and my ear was irrigated to the point of extreme pain four times consecutively.
Sometimes I have it, sometimes I don't. It's cyclical. I know when I get up in the morning whether or not I'll have it all day or not.
