Hi people how are you doing? Okay after months of tinnitus not bothering me and getting on with my life, I now have a spike in my left ear that has been going on for 3 days.

The spike seems like its over my normal medium-highpitch tinnitus. It sounds like a static frequency sound that can be hear in mostly quite areas.

So here's the thing, when I clench down and move my jaw to the right it changes volume or sound.

And this happens every time I move my jaw, I made a dentist appointment to reduce the fillings again because last time they reduced a little.

I need some support guys I don't want to go into that bubble of anxiety and depression that I was in months ago.

Now that my anxiety has decreased i could think clearly in school and home but this spike is getting me down because it's different pitch. I would like some support, thanks.

Hi Karmen,
Spikes are hard going so keep sound on around you day and night and have your ears checked for infection and wax.
Lots of nice treats and walks in the fresh air and keep a hat on in the cold weather.
Do what you can to relax like a long soak in the bath and relaxing music .

Do some deep breathing also counting in slow to the count of 3 and out to the count of 4 till calm .
Keep posting on here for support to get you through your tough time.

Got a nasty flu virus and both ears so loud and started with pulsitile T also...even us oldies to tinnitus need pull out all the stops to cope with spikes but should calm down soon...lots of love glynis
