I'm very sure i do have TMJ/D. My jaw clicks, it feels unaligned. I have begun sleeping with a mouth guard, it seems to help on the tinnitus. When i got out of bed this morning and clenched my teeth together i felt as though my upper molars had proper contact with my lower molars for a second. I have to let you know.
According to Wakeley "pull of the posterior attachment of the disk" There's no need to this read the entire article or other noted links on the article page. It's advised to use a thin mouth guard and focus on your neck.

Thank you for replying! Do you by any chance know if the scan told you anything about the nerves state ? If a dead nerve was infected for example ?
Like if the buccal nerve was not healthy.
I don't know if there's a concern with this, but even in a mild way it only happens 2% of the time. If tinnitus is present then it's 4%.
BTW, i have some information about the knot behind my ear. I will update the SCM topic later on. I just got to have some dinner and talk to a person so i will probably update the SCM topic at around 21:00 GMT+1.
I have posted professional searched information about knots behind and in front of the ear. You can use keywords to place into search above, but I wouldn't worry about this.
Your neck: Gentle and easy with focus on the areas with procedures mentioned in a post above.
Do you still have the links for "Back in the Game" Chiropractic and Wellness - The Craniocervical connection - Injury and Whiplash? In this article the SCMs, trapezius, deep fibers, facet joint tenderness and occipitals - sub occipitals are mentioned. I mentioned treatment briefly in post above and before, but I know that I have given you detailed information by PM. This is professional advice from the best for treatment. It helps me, but I have a hard time not making repeated posture and bending mistakes. My occipital nerves and fibers get tensed from not sitting in a proper chair with a proper headrest.
In the last eighteen months, I've have read over 600 highly professional articles on facial that includes an endless amount of conditions that include association with all facial systems, mouth, facial nerve complex and moving lips. I don't think that you have any of this going on.
I am totally committed but i probably need your advice on the heat and cold stuff.
Yes, i have not deleted any PM's in my inbox.
Warm before treatment. A washcloth placed under a hot water facet and then ring it out. Apply for a minute or two. Use cold after treatment such as a bag of frozen peas, but wrap it in a washcloth. Do not apply cold directly without it being wrapped. Apply for a couple of minutes.

Do you still have the links on the SCM such as - The SCM - Strangest Muscle in the Body?
