Tinnitus Since
02/2013
Hi to all fellow tinnitus ear ringers. I've had tinnitus for over 2 years and for the last month it has been getting worse. About a year and a half ago I had a vertigo drop attack so doctors and myself included thought it was Meniere's disease so I started on a rx called Serc. I didn't have any more drop attacks so after 1 year the specialist thought I should stop taking it and sure enough I haven't had another attack since. With meniere's there would have been more than the one attack in a year. Another specialist thinks it could be a ocular migraine" or "silent migraines". So, I'm in the dark, tinnitus ringing away 24x7. Thanks for listening. cpbem

One vertigo attack doesn't necessarily mean you have Meniere's. And it looks like this was the conclusion in the end.

Sometimes tinnitus can get worse, better, stay the same... It has a mood of its own!!
