Anybody in NYC?

I'm flying my wife to New York City this weekend for a 'date night' weekend. Anybody have any recommendations on quiet-ish places to go eat or drink? Or places to go or things to do?

Quiet-"ish" don't forget the "ish!" Staying in midtown. Loud places don't bother me these days, so that is fine. But places that are overly loud with a lot of background noise just make it hard for someone like me to hear conversation.

Newport is an awesome place. I work in the Boston area and used to go to Providence a lot... now not so much (unfortunately)

Definitely. Plan to stop by TKTS and get tickets to a show. I am from Indiana. I found really cheap plane tickets a few months back, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity.
