Okay so I am doing some research and I came upon this article about extended release Cyclobenzaprine to treat tinnitus and it looks like some people wanted to patent it but I'm not sure. The article is found here:

Later on the article it talks about a drug called Amrix which is Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride and testing they did with it for tinnitus. I looked up the prices for Amrix on goodrx.com and it is extremely expensive. Has anyone tried this for tinnitus? Could you take the equivalent amount of generic Cyclobenzaprine (the name brand is Flexeril) which is much cheaper throughout the day and get the same result?
