I am thinking of buying a drone DJI Mavic Pro, but then it sounds noisy in YouTube videos... Any one flew drones? Was it ok?

I have used a loud DJI Phantom 3 Pro, and it's nothing compared to the Mavic (which is maybe twice as silent), without any problems.

There is absolutely nothing to fear about drones, a door slamming is 10 times louder :)

have fun and by the way i'll be buying one soon ! this new drone looks absolutely awesome

Technically tinnitus is a drone inside each of our heads. The size of the drone as reflected on this forum depends on the individual. I am not sure why somebody would want one both inside and outside but to each his own. I am waiting for them...whoever they are....to invent a controller to turn off the drone inside my head. Maybe drones will be the new masking agent for tinnitus.:)

You should not be near the drone when it takes off so no problem at all with the noise, I flew a lot of them (some of them big) ;)

Thanks for the replies....just thinking does it come close enough to be noisy when it is tracking/following you.

In any case, it won't be a noise trauma. Try it and you'll see if you need earplugs.

But it shouldn't come too close, or you're not safe.
