Anyone with Multiple Tones in Each Ear or Is It Only Me?

I know I've said before, but where on earth do these sounds come from?!!!!
I asked the tinnitus phd man at hosp if it was some misfiring going on and he said no it's not. He didn't say what it could be tho. Frustration. I think then these noises could be there all along, but something sets them free to be heard. When I had a severe panic attack/ near fainting episode before the t, my hearing went nuts. I heard the loudest tinnitus noise like eeeeeeee at the highest pitch possible for about 10 seconds before it dropped to normal hearing and the sound went away. Those noises I heard sound like my t now but in a lesser form. Like something has triggered a hearing shift and now they are noticeable.

I have a ''eeeuuuuuuu'' sound (which sometimes fluctuates like eee--uuuuuu-eee--uuuu), crickets and high pitch ringing in my left ear, and a ''hollow'' sound in my right ear. Very tiring.
Before I took the meds I only had VERY mild high pitch ringing, mostly at night.

oh yes, multiple sounds here too

On the left, it's pretty much just a waterfall with crickets chirping every 3 seconds

On the right is the party!! Morse code, alarm buzzing, waterfall...

it varies a lot too

Today has been one of the worst days ever but reading other folks with multiple tones makes me feel I'm not alone. In fact, reading some of them actually made me smile for the first time today. This T is so crazy. My left ear is worst usually. The noises consist of a high pitched tone, mixed with hissing, modem/fax machine noises and electric live wire sounds. Always worst when I awake in the middle of the night. I am in awe of how our ears or brains can maufacture such a concoction of noise. How are my fellow multiple noise sufferers doing? I hope better than me right now.

I am OK. I had a nice time outside with my lady today and just ate a tasty dinner - I just want you to know that you are not alone @Tweaker .
Hugs bro.

I don't know if I'm getting a second sound or I'm just imagining it , or looking for it or is really there since my first or main sound is so low nowadays, this second one is also extremely low I really gotta pay attention to hear it

Man I have 9 tones in total regularly through both my ears but on bad days it can get up to 12 tones. It's awful. I swear there must be something really effed up with our nervous systems in our heads!

That's insane, how do you discern between them? My tinnitus is 2 toned generally speaking so it's kind of easy to make them out from each other - one is a very low tone that I've had forever that never bothered me, 1 high tone I got 3 years that was the start of my "tinnitus" that changes from time to time.

I'm sorry that you got that much =( How is your hearing?

It really is insane. I can discern because they are at different locations in my head and ears. Some are in my head and loud and some are in my head and quiet and some are in my ears and mix together but are still different. It honestly all depends on the day but I can tell them apart if I stop and listen (unfortunately).

My hearing sucks. Oh I can still hear alright and discern speech and tell where sound is coming from. But (and this might sound really weird) but sometimes I can feel my own hearing loss. I remember how my ears felt before I had a lot of hearing loss and now I can hear how things have gotten quieter enough to notice or how high pitched sounds have gotten extremely quiet. Stuff like that.

I have a noise exactly like a wet finger rubs on a glass cup and it makes a chiming humm sound. Sounds exactly like that. I just noticed it today because I was able to accept the "keys jingling" and the "airplane" in my left ear, after finally accepting them now I hear this "chiming humm". My right ear has a bird chirping and beeping with also with keys jingling. Some whistling. Some normal static tinnitus.

I have 16 tones that I know of at the moment.
It sux.
But I jump into my car, turn up the volume and drive.
But then I have to come home.
"You'll get used to it" is the normal doctors reply.
"We don't have anything in this country that can help you" is the other reply.
And "there's nothing I can do" is the other one.
All I want is strong medication that can put me to sleep real fast.

I HATE this tinnitus.

Changes constantly throughout the day. Hang in there. I'm barely able to use white noise after my latest spike over a week ago. It's not easy but it will get easier.

I have a low pitched eeeeee tone in my left that never goes away and right ear ear has pulsating beats that comes and goes. White noise only reduces my sounds in the right ear and the left ear tone is always there. Does it ever stop???? I am so annoyed by this!!

Yes, I have a hissing/static noise in my left ear and a ringing noise in my right ear. My T switches between ears too. I was just getting use (or at least trying to stay positive) to the hissing/static noise, but now I'm panicking about the ringing in the right ear as it's much more distracting. It's so disheartening to think you might, just might be able to cope with your current situation, them BAM all of a sudden there is a new noise and you're back to square one. :(

Newbie here, and 55 year survivor of this Tinnitus Ringing!
My first memory of tinnitus was standing in my childhood bed looking out at the windows and looking at the high tension wires providing electricity to our neighborhood and being told by my mother the high-pitched whistle was from the electric lines... then, later in life I realize the electric line hum frequency is much lower than the multiple frequencies I hear in each ear. My right ear has a pitch that is around 8.5 Khz and a harmonic whistle at ~19.2Khz and extremely loud... left ear just a few hundred hz lower at both frequencies.
This, routine inner ear infections, extreme vertigo (hold onto carpet nap to keep from falling off the earth, and simple head movement provides severe nausea...
had an MRI yesterday and finally an ENT Dr that seems to be on a search for an external cause (tumors, brain damage, etc.),
I am sick of this impediment, I keep working and have some solace from making music on weekends... actually provides some relief...
I shared with my wife of 37 years the audio frequency and amplitude last night and she commented, "How have you kept from committing suicide?" It was not a rude comment, as we each have our ailments, her's is borderline diabetes, and mine is this Timnitus!
Anyway, I am learning that there are layers to this disease, auditory canal issues, nerves, even areas of the brain along with sympathetic hairs in the cochlea... ugh! So a single fix may not cure this...
BTW, No difference noted in reduced sodium, caffiene, alcohol, etc., and I am tired of this $#!+ (sorry).... I have just put up with this all my life and not sure I will ever have relief.
I am able to sleep at night as the ringing provides white noise that tires me... but I am restless, and the noise typically awakens me multiple times each night.
Sorry for the rant and yes, multiple frequencies in each ear and different frequencies in opposite ears that are like sitting in a jet airliner with 2 engines that are just a few hundred RPM different and the harmonics sweep across each other every few seconds.

I started out with one tone in my left ear that sounded like the back of an old TV. About a week later, an intermittent ringing sound started up in the left ear. It started to fade, then one of my co-workers let of a loud sneeze right next to me and it came back even worse. I took a muscle relaxer last week and now I have two extra sounds in both ears and increased H. :(
