Cause of Tinnitus
Suspected MRI; Possibly worsened by irrigation
I live in a townhouse and some new neighbors are using a ton of air freshener in their bathrooms and other areas. It has gotten into my bathrooms and into the rest of my townhouse. It's everywhere and I am highly sensitive to them to the point of them making my tinnitus worse.

I know there are dozens of toxic chemicals in them and I'm wondering if anyone knows if they're ototoxic and can cause hearing loss and tinnitus?

I'm suffering every day from them.

It is extremely unlikely you are experiencing ear issues due to air freshners.

Yes, chemical scents can make tinnitus worse in people who are sensitive to chemicals, but it's temporary until you stop the exposure.
