Are Cefdinir and Fluticasone/Flonase Safe to Take with Patulous Eustachian Tube and Tinnitus?

So, I have an ear infection in both ears, currently.

I have been prescribed the antibiotic Cefdinir and the Nasal Spray Fluticasone (similar to Flonase).

However, I also not only have Tinnitus but I also believe I have PET, or Patulous Eustachian Tube (never been properly diagnosed, but I have all the telltale systems, including autophony).

So, are these medications, in particular the spray, safe to take?

I realize I probably should just because of my infection, but I was wondering if anybody here (specifically with PET) had any experience with these?

The steroid nasal spray should be fine but I have not heard about the medication.

I took both simultaneously without a problem.

@glynis and @kelpiemsp do you guys have PET, or Patulous Eustachian Tube? It's where the tubes are too open and cause you to hear your voice in you're ear. It only happens intermittently for me, but I was concerned about the spray because of this. I think that I have this condition.

@kiel I have the opposite, ETD where the tube stays closed. And the goal is to get the spray into the Eustachian Tube. This is only to reduce inflammation. Regardless of PET status, inflammation isn't good. That being said, something that lowers inflammation should affect PET, which has other causes.

I have lot's of allergies and Menieres and Bilateral tinnitus.
The spray helps clear my tubes and lower inflamation.
I don't have PET.

@kelpiemsp so you think I should take the spray then, correct? I suppose I could try it once and see how it goes.

Ok, another question. Would the antibiotics on their own be enough to clear up the infection? Idk, if I don't HAVE to take the spray, I think I'd just rather not, honestly. It didn't seem essential when the Doctor was telling me about it, or from what I've looked up online.
