Are There Any Russians Here?

Out of curiosity, I joined a Russian social networking site called Vkontakte (also called "VK") which is quite popular in Russia and Ukraine. It looks and functions like Facebook.

I found a couple of groups in VK dedicated to supporting people with tinnitus and I think it would be a good thing if someone from Tinnitus Talk could share information with others living with the same condition we do.

The groups have recent activity, so there's a real audience that needs information we share here.

I'm thinking about posting a link to this forum in their groups to encourage them to join us. However, many might not be fluent in English and it could pose problems, unless a specific Russian language thread could be set-up for them to post and receive responses.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

It's a very good idea to share information with them. I'm familiar with VK but I don't have any social media presence. Google translate is usually good enough for Russian and Ukrainian translation to get the basic idea across. You can message me personally if you find anyone who wants to post here in Russian. добре ден It looks like Cyrlic can be posted within the chat entry window and google translate could translate the entire page.
