I regularly receive emails from the Unexplainable Store. Today's email was titled: The Mood Cure: Serotonin. It looked interesting, so I checked it out. While browsing the site, the tinnitus page appeared—even though I wasn't looking for it. Weird!

The site claims: "You can enjoy a ringing-free ear in as little as 5 minutes."

Well, does anyone feel like listening to the free sample on repeat for 5 minutes to see if it works? :)

On a serious note, has anyone tried this?

I'm not usually into binaural beats, but the isochronic tone version might be more appealing to me. If I decide to give it a shot, I'll let you know. It's been about a year since I last tried Universal Sound Therapy for tinnitus, so I might revisit it.

P.S. I haven't been around much lately—just busy with life. Honestly, coming here tends to make me focus more on my tinnitus. These days, I only notice it once or twice a day for about a minute, and when I do, I deliberately distract myself to shift my attention away from it. Being here has the opposite effect for me.

Love you all, though!

I had a go with the sample and it did nothing for me.

I wonder if they sell much? That's a nice high price they ask.

Really for tinnitus they should be using alpha frequencies as that's where we generally have a dip in our brainwave patterns. And the other sounds aren't really very nice - to my ears anyway.

Seems more like an attempt to cash in, rather than something that's actually been thought out and properly designed.

Well it looks like they claim their products help lots of things.

A scammy panacea product comes to mind. Similar to the Universal Sound Therapy.

Enough said...

For those who are interested in this topic:
Conclusion:
It was observed that all three broadband (BB) stimuli were equally effective in treating tinnitus handicap symptoms. However, the results cannot be definitively attributed to brainwave entrainment, as they may also reflect the effects of sound therapy. Additionally, the lack of significant differences among the BB frequencies suggests that the benefits may not arise specifically from brainwave entrainment, especially without a comparison to beta frequency BB. This technique should be adopted into clinical practice with generalizability after further research on a randomized sample.
