Audio Game May Help Soften Tinnitus's Din

There's been a little bit of research at Nottingham NHBRU with audio games.

I think they could be a good thing, interested to know more about the retraining part, if they believe they can actually quieten tinnitus with it. I've only seen them spoken of as helping to tune it out before.

Wonder if the game is tailored to the individual's t frequency range.
Residual Inhibition for example, in my opinion, has been greatly overlooked. As well as confusing the t signal at neighboring frequencies. If playing your t tone for a minute can give a few moments relief, imagine what ongoing studies of this could achieve.

These guys are working on the aspect of residual inhibition. Personally I don't think it's overlooked. All the sound based therapies are spawned out of this idea. Even the vagus nerve stimulation thing.
