I went to see the audiologist today, basically a waste of my time. Her only suggestion was for me to spend 6000.00 on a pair of hearing aids. Money I don't have nor can I get. Right now I don't have a clue on what I am going to do about my job at a call center, in some ways I think it would be better to be deaf.

Sorry to hear your audiology appointment did not go well.
Hearing aids are lots of money to buy.
You can play white noise or natural sounds on the lowest setting to give you a break but only for short periods as hearing aids are out of the question for now.
Hope over time you find the right job for yourself If the call centre job proves to be to hard on your ears...
