Bad Tinnitus Tips

The fact that most tinnitus research is depressing is an unfortunate reality, but also not my problem
So tell me how I've habituated? My tinnitus is screeching right now as I watch TV. it's roughly twice the volume as the TV I'm watching through a surround sound amplifier. I'm not bothered by it it isn't stressing me out and it isn't draining my energy. How is that possible if habituation to loud chronic tinnitus isn't possible.
My audiologist (who also has tinnitus) told me I will habituate, as did my doctor. Obviously they aren'taas qualified as you as you have read some posts and articles online. So tell me if it isn't habituation, what is it?
Oh and flat earthers and evolution deniers have found articles and studies online too. And like you ignored the things they didn't agree with and honed in on the things they did.

So you have a less reactive affect to tinnitus, congrats. You still hear it in its full form, which defies the claims I often see of people on this site. Some of whom say the brain will "filter out the noise" as part of the habituation. I suppose as Tinker Bell pointed out, we disagree on how we define habitation. I personally define it as the idea that a person can learn to ignore and/or filter out the sound from consciousness, which the end goal promoted by TRT and CBT programs.

As for your doctor and ENT, it sounds like they were about as worthless as everyone I have ever seen has been. "Just learn to live with it" is a pretty terrible attitude when we could instead be looking for a cure. Rather, science chooses to be lazy and expect "habituation" (whichever definition it is). Lastly, people can find articles anywhere, the difference between mine and flat earthers are mine were published in credited scientific journals, after a rigorous lengthy period of experiment design, execution, and peer review. Most of those articles they dig up largely lack that. I also never claimed to be more knowledgeable than doctors or ENTs, although I could certainly make the case for it. Based on my last interactions with my ENT I seemed to know far more about current research than he did. It's not his job to keep track but that also is not the point.

If you don't like what I have to say, you (and everyone else who shares that viewpoint) can fuck off. No one is forcing you to read my threads, and if they upset you then don't read them. It's a simple as that. Or better yet, "Ignore" me and it will be like this site without me ever having been here. After all, I'm just a troll who shows his real face and communicates with many members on this forum to engage in discussion.

Yes I can hear it now because I'm talking about it. 95-99 percent of the day my brain filters it out and I don't think about it. So I'll ask you again, if it isn't habituation, what is it? You are an expert when collating research study results online. So you should be able to understand my question.

And I don't get upset reading your self pitying and miserable armchair scientific posts. And I don't feel sorry for you. But I do feel sorry for the people who may get dragged down by you. The ones that were like me before I habituated. Oh sorry, I forgot, tinnitus doesn't exist! I forgot you found some research online!

Funny, earlier you said it was twice as loud as the TV you were watching. That doesn't sound someone who almost never hears it. Neurologically I don't know in regards to your brain. Perhaps your TRN is still partially working so it can suppress the signal more often than in my case. I'm not sure because I would have to examine your specific neural substrates, which I lack the expertise to do.

Anyways, I've basically been told to "fuck off" by you before so I'm done engaging with you. If you don't like what I have to say, then don't click on my threads and don't respond to what I have to say. It's a simple as that.

Scientific research certainly does more than some article written by some college graduate with a journalism degree. Given that you continue to use hair-trigger phrases it seems you are trying to illicit a stronger emotional response from me. I'm not getting into that with you. You Brits haven't exactly proven that continuity is one of your strengths given how poorly your empire was run.

If you don't want others to read my posts, fine, make a post telling others to avoid me. I don't care. The fact that you continue to post here tells me you care to some degree.
