Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
I was prescribed Clonazepam/Rivotril in 2010 because my tinnitus can reach very severe levels. I have been using it for 8 years and have no problems with it. I now use it approximately twice a month for up to 3 days. Taking 2x 0.5 tablets per day. It reduces my tinnitus to complete silence. My tinnitus is naturally variable, from: Silent, mild, moderate, severe and extremely severe. Clonazepam used and monitored correctly has no dangers in my opinion. It helps me when nothing else will.
I took Lorazepam 1mg for a few weeks many years ago and was given 3 months but only took 3 weeks and then tapered for two weeks and never took any more .
