Blissfully Quiet Yesterday - Back in Hell Today

So sorry! I did the same thing earlier this week. Had a great day then the next day it nearly blew my head off. Here's hoping it will quiet down as the day progresses!

I am constantly seeing this around this forum. So many good days and then bam a bad day. I think the only conclusion is enjoy the good days but know that more then likely you'll have a bad day. That does make the idea of being as indifferent to T as humanly possible look very attractive to me! Hope you're feeling better.

One thing I've learned is that spikes happen but they always go back down, even if it takes a day or two. I do know that very rarely someone's spike will be their T dialing up for real, but that's not common. I had a glass of wine with dinner one evening, that night and

Hit send too soon: that night and the next morning my T was very loud but by evening it had gone back down. Decided I enjoyed the wine and will do
It again sometime and the T can go to hell.

Love your last sentence. T can go to hell while I will enjoy the rest of my life that is not tinnitus. Don't let T dictate what we do. Win your freedom back. I used to tip toe around T praying what I do would not provoke T. After a while, I learn that T is unpredictable and trying to please it doesn't win me any control over it. So I said the heck with T. I dared it and lived my life the way I want to. Doing nothing for T is a good strategy. I just accepted it as a reality of life and move on. It takes time but eventually we will get there.
