Hey... for two months I have had like a full feeling in my ears... it all started with New Year's fireworks... I heard a loud noise for 2 seconds and then it went away.

I never heard any weird noses in my ears.

I went to several doctors and I don't have ear damage but still have the feeling that there is something in my ears... some doctors say it's the eustachian tube.

Sometimes the feeling is in one ear and then in the other... can somebody help me?

I suggest you go for a hearing test (not just an ear examination) to get a baseline on your hearing.

Ear fullness/full ear sensation is a common symptom. Similar to bruising, it is a signal that you had hurt your ear. I had a full ear sensation for 11 days following my acoustic trauma, before I got T.

Full ear sensation tends to go away on its own. It ought to be gone in 6 months or so.

Now that you had hurt your ear, you may want to be extra careful around loud noises, as now it will likely take less for you to get tinnitus.

Fireworks can only go to a maximum of 120db in the UK and if they are let off into the air - they are unlikely to do any long lasting damage. However if one went right off by your head - then that's a different story.

@Mi1

Hey, although my case is quite different from yours, my ears started ringing when my tripped and hurt my jaw, I already had TMJ but after that fall my jaw/neck were hurting worse than normal and then my ears started ringing...lovely. Then about a week after my ears started ringing my right ear only got full, most uncomfortable feeling EVER. I got a mouth guard for my TMJ and that made the ear fullness go away after only a day of wearing it...but fast forward three months after that and my ear was full again and this time it wasn't going away at all. It randomly got better, and then finally one of my doctors prescribed me Neurontin (gabapentin is the generic), it's a medication for nerve inflammation. It worked after taking it for two days, and now my ears only get full after I do anything that can cause swelling, so I noticed I feel it after I work out sometimes. But it goes away now, and im a million times happier. I really hate that ear fullness feeling.

Hi everyone!

I don't have tinnitus but since last year (new year 2018, firework) I have a fuller feeling in my ears (this is getting better) but I still have a blocked feeling in my ears and tightness in and around the ears and cheeks. I have done a lot of hearing tests and they didn't find any damage.

Did someone have the same feeling and did it go away? It's more like a stiff feeling in and around the ears.

Thanks in advance!

Hi! Not sure if you still check this but did the block feeling make you feel like you weren't hearing out of the ear although if you cover your good ear you can hear? I've been having this as well.

Hi. No not really. The blocked feeling is already a lot better.
