Hi!
I was at my ENT today and did a hearing test which showed completely normal values.
Lastly, he examined my ears and at the end he blew air with a bellows (I think that's what it's called - a small hand pump) into both my ears. He wanted to check how my ear drums were moving.
Later I panicked because I don't know if the air he blew in my ears might have damaged something? At the end of the examination as well... when I knew everything was okay with my hearing...
Is blowing a stream of air with a hand pump going to damage your eardrum, middle ear or inner ear?
Should I be worried? Could it cause permanent tinnitus?
