Cause of Tinnitus
Scombroid food poisoning.
There are two very interesting professors in Amsterdam I would like to interview.

Prof. Dr. Smidt (Amsterdam), on the neuron and it's functioning in relation to tinnitus, the mitochondria's ATP production and proliferation withing the cell and the merits of LT.

Prof. Dr. Lucassen (Amsterdam), on adult neurogenesis, the use of stem cells for tinnitus, the influence of stress on the functioning of the brain, the influence of sports on the brain, the merits of plasticity as a tool for treating tinnitus and if it can affect the auditory system.

I have studio equipment but after I dropped my Canon from a telescope it broke the video recording ability... Is there anyone near Amsterdam that owns a camera and would want to come record the interview for an hour? or would loan out their camera?

We're doing this to provide content to Tinnitushub.com so if anyone would like to contribute that'be great. The interviews will be conducted with a list of questions that have arisen from the Ttalk community.

@Cityjohn , could you please ask some questions about curing hearing loss as well? What path they think shows the most promise and maybe what time line they see as realistic for such hearing loss cures to come? Also, do they feel a 20 to 30 db instead could ever be seen soon?

I think many on here would be interested in that. It is related to this issue as well, and feel hearing loss should come into the discussion.

Thanks fro taking the time to do this regardless though. i really feel like a timeframe should be added though... i think most researchers seem to really avoid giving it.

@Cityjohn could you Pm me some more details? Like date/location you have in mind. And would you be able to edit the footage yourself?

I'm not sure of the time frame yet, probably this winter, I have a LOT of work before then. The location would be the University of Amsterdam Science Park (either their offices or I'll reserve a conference room) on a weekday between 11:00 and 15:00. I prefer to edit the footage myself :)

A thought many reading this thread probably share with me:

Fantastic community spirit, @Cityjohn & @Onnie! Way to go!

This among other our upcoming projects will be quite interesting :)
