Can Anyone Help Estimate Decibels for a Balloon Pop?

I was walking through a parking garage and just about to leave when a child's balloon popped about 12-15 feet away from me.

I've read that a balloon pop is as loud as a gun shot. Lets say it was 140 decibels. At 12-15 feet away what would the decibels be?

Another factor is the concrete walls and cars so no sound is being absorbed but in fact maybe amplified.

I'm thinking about convincing a doc to put me on prednisone but not sure I'm overreacting.
Any help?

I feel it depends on how big the ballon is and what not
Generally the smaller the ballon and tighter the louder

Bigger the ballon the more dispersed the sound is

I had a latex glove pop in my ear by a co worker, it was the thumb part blown up
Which sounds like 160 - 170 db
