Can Someone Please Explain This? Sudden and Unexpected Improvement in Tinnitus and Hyperacusis

Why did you stop? Any side effects? (Except from turning yellow)

I was trying, in vain, to regenerate my cochlear damage. There was a bit of research into it. I actually took 2 grams of curcumin today.

That lasted about 3 weeks. I woke up this morning and it was all almost gone except the base tones that are very quiet in comparison and I have to plug my ears to hear it.
@JohnAdams, did it disappear overnight? And is the hovering sensation in brain still there?

By the way, my T seems to perfectly match yours. Have you also noticed that the hovering sensation is noticeable only inside closeted space such as inside bathroom or car with doors closed? It seems to disappear in open space, however quiet it may be.

I'm starting to think hyperacusis and the high pitch electrical noise/feeling is the nerves and the constant tone is dead hair cells.
plz stop hypothesizing random claims

Hovering sensation? What's that?

Then there is the high frequency dog whistle sound that's almost so high it's not even a sound but a sensation in my brain
This thing. To me, it feels to be behind the back of my head rather than inside.

Thus I call it a hovering sensation. It's not even a sound goddamnit. Inexplicable.

Just FYI for anyone checking this thread, these improvements were just temporary. It just goes up somedays, down others. Inexplicable.

How do you know it was in vain?

Was the goal to activate the Progenitor Cells? I'm thinking we don't was to use them even if we could unless there is something to make them multiply as well (as FX are doing?)

In the sound therapy center I was told that fluctuating tinnitus may be due to hyperacusis. That "sensitivity to sound" generates, supposedly, a very dynamic ringing.

According to that argument, if you improve hyperacusis, you relieve your tinnitus. It's just a hypothesis.

I did not do any testing to measure hyperacusis. But I think that in my case it is mild or moderate.

On the other hand, they could not tell me why tinnitus changes during sleep.

@JohnAdams

I saw more posts of yours saying that curcumin helped your tinnitus. I started taking curcumin supplement pills 3 days ago and after the first day I had a substantial improvement in the volume of my reactive tinnitus. Thank you so much for those posts!

Has your tinnitus stayed lower recently. I was hoping you could share what else has provided you with relief so that I can try that too in hopes of further lowering the volume of my tinnitus.
