I see Theophylline for asthma treatment is not on most ototoxic medication lists, but it is on a few lists for causing tinnitus.
Is there a consensus on whether Theophylline can cause or worsen tinnitus or hearing loss?
Ironically, Singulair (Montelukast) is not on any ototoxic medication lists, or on any list mentioning it could cause tinnitus, but 45 minutes after taking the first dose, I had a noticeable flare up, so I'm done with that medication.
