Carbon Monoxide Alarm Caused a Spike

Last night carbon monoxide battery was low and it was beeping down stairs. I think it was making beep noise every 7-8 seconds. I could clearly hear it in my room so I went downstairs, put my muffs on, and took the battery out. Took me couple of minutes only. It was also beeping every 7-8 seconds.

My tinnitus was just a bit louder right away and today my tinnitus is a bit louder. It's not super loud by any means but I can hear it over AC and computer fans.

This is strange... How can something like this cause a spike? Weird!
 
@Sean , if you peruse this forum you will find a number of examples of people having similar reactions to that type of noise. Tinnitus is terrible, and everyone reacts to it and experiences it differently. Hopefully, the spike will subside.
