Last day in the Caribbean, on the island of St Thomas, before going back to New York.
It seems to have a deeply religious culture:
25% Christian
25% Voodoo
25% Superstition
25% Dark Rum
(I might have got that league table completely the wrong way round ??)
Comparing my 'spiritual stance' to the above: being a Pragmatic, Agnostic, Teetotaller, my standing seems pretty slight, if realistic.
I came across this wayside pulpit text, on a post at one of the busiest road junctions on Dominica.
Just when you should be watching traffic and pedestrians you are encouraged to consider the moral quality of all of your human connections, or leave the future of your immortal soul in dire jeopardy.
Just realised - if I were to take this advice at its face value, I would literally have to jettison a number of my dearest Tinnitus Talk friends.
I've decided to risk it folks.
You're alright - d'you know that.
Best wishes to everybody
