Hello all!

Anyone understand why some cars can increase tinnitus temporarily? I just got a VW Polo from my company and I don´t understand it. I have taken many taxis and Ubers and don´t have the problem, but when I drive it happens. I don't know if it is the stress of driving. I was thinking on soundproofing my car, but as I take many Ubers and taxis and don´t have the problem, was wondering if it is a stress issue.

Any thoughts about this?

I suppose you could always ask someone to drive you in your VW for a while...

Stesss certainly could make it worse. Funnily enough I get more stessed if someone drives me lol.

In my old ford if I put my head down near under the glove box trying to figure out what was wrong with the heater, my T would get very loud. Didn't matter what position I was in and happened more than once. I made a comment to a friend and a guy visiting smoking outside my apt bldg. with her said he had been in the service and had T and had experienced the same thing and said it was the security system. I thought he was sort of pulling my leg but I have had it happen again in a different car. The car noise masks it but if you get in without the motor running it is obviously much louder.

Thank you guys , before i had a Suzuki and when driving i had the same problem , now everytime they Ride me on the same Car i dont have any problem. I asked for a polo because It is rated as a quiet Car so all facts may suggest stress may have an effect on the nervious system and in turn increase temporarily t
