Cefixime — Suprax / Ototoxic or Safe?

Hello All,

I have been prescribed Cefixime antibiotic, for a cold I have had for the last 3 weeks and for a severe tinnitus spike I am suffering. ENT believes treating this will help my tinnitus spike. I have researched all literature and there's no signs of Cefixime being ototoxic.

Anyone here who has used it? I used Cefaclor in the past without any effect on my tinnitus, but it destroyed my gut. Any thoughts about this?
