Certain Excercises and Tinnitus?

Hi folks, sometimes I think we research the internet too much these days, but I have a question for any of you. I read that running/jogging is probably not good for tinnitus on a certain web page. I've never been a jogger/runner (was always into weightlifting) but have recently started doing a little bit of jogging most days to try and burn off excessive anxiety. Have any of you been adversely affected by jogging? I'm thinking of the jarring inside of our ears and T increases. Any responses would be appreciated. God Bless.... Rich

@Richard Wallace I jog all the time sometimes it increases my T sometimes it has no effect but it always goes back to baseline if it does go up.

Anyone can conclude is slow jogging harmful to T?

Wanted to jog to destress but worried it will worsen my T.
I run stairs instead, less impact, better for your ears and the rest of your body. Jogging is really not that great of a excersice if you want to do anything but loose muscle mass and fat. If you want chicken legs jog, if you want muscle and power do sprints or stairs (or sprints on the stairs).

Any exercise is good for your health and even if it spikes your T it won't be permanent. Go forth and exercise!

Hey Eric, what do you think about weight lifting (power lifting) with the proper breathing technique?

Is the blood rush to the head dangerous?

I'm a former power lifter and it just feels wrong now that I have T. My T starts blazing out of control first set.

I just don't know if this is safe or not. What do you think?

I don't think it is dangerous as long as you are safe doing it. If it is safe to do when you don't have T, then it should be safe with T. You may experience spikes or increase in your T because power lifting is taxing on the body and you will have changes in your BP and possibly other physical changes that will affect. But those are usually just temporary
