Clicking Noise in Left Ear When Masker Turned On

When I turn on my masker now I hear clicking noises that distort the masking sound. This recent clicking sound was due to amplified sound when I rolled down the car window (long story) also have a low hum in left ear too because of it. This happened back in December. I cannot hear the "clicking sound" except when the masker is turned on. Anyone else have this and did it go away? Any way to treat it? Thanks for any help.

I visited an audiologist in Florida and recommended maskers that cost close to $4,000. I have a loud T which although he measure the level of T, I am not sure it will be worth. Its seem too expensive? Does anyone have any similar experience?
