Clinic Specialized in Pulsatile Tinnitus

Thank you! I didn't know about this clinic. I certainly wish there were more doctors like this, who were interested enough in pulsatile tinnitus to make it their specialty. Thank you for sharing this information.

Thanks for letting us know, Aneta. We'll be interested to hear the outcome of your appointment at the PT clinic!

Although my T is being treated as a TMJ disorder, I am looking at "back up" in case my mode of treatment doesn't work after a few months (although I will probably keep the head/neck massages anyway as they are quite awesome for just feeling good and taking the mind off the T for a bit).

Here is the direct link for the clinic, which I added to this thread instead of adding a new one.

This info would be for US patients. I was hoping I could just schedule an appointment and walk in (or really fly up) for analysis, but it is really a secondary resource once you do some legwork on your own first. You will need:

1. A referral form from either a primary physician or specialist (EMT, neurologist, etc.). They email this to you to get filled in.

2. Any medical records regarding your condition such as clinical notes, lab reports, etc.

3. MRI, CT or angiogram data on CD in "Dicom format" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DICOM. This is really what you need to engage with them since they are specializing in looking at things going wrong physically.

The good news is that once they get the referral from the first doctor they will do an initial film review free of charge. Based on that analysis, they will decide if they can be of help and schedule an appointment.

So they are really the resource to go to look at structural problems in the neck, brain, veins, upper spine, etc. and you already have multiple 3D pictures of the inside of your head. In my case it is too early for me to do this, but the info is helpful if I need to go to Plan B.

@Aneta above has not logged in for almost exactly a year, so maybe she got a good treatment? Anyone else out there with experience here?
