Clock Ticking Sound in the Head

Hi all,

Just wanted to check if anyone else has had this. I have developed an internal sound in the head, which sounds like a clock ticking. It's not really in the ears but pretty much in the head. Doctors say it may be blood vessels, stress induced thing.

Has anyone had this experience?

I may be a bit late, but I recently read that stapedious myoclonus can cause clock-ticking like tinnitus. Maybe you want to read more about it?

Thank you! Yes, I've just started reading about it.

I basically have 3 sounds:

The clock
The whistle
Intermittant chirping

The clock is most likely coming from the ear, although it resonates in the head.

I know it is quite severe. Don't know of any of this will go away. I'm 5 weeks with this suicidal nightmare...
