Hi!
I have now had my tinnitus (high frequency sound) for about 4 months. It suddenly appeared right after I was taking a shower out of nowhere.
But something is very suspicious about my symptoms - every night when I am lying down, my right ear (the ear I have the loudest tinnitus) gets clogged and I have to stand up and try to do the valsalva maneuver several times. My ear is so clogged that it is almost impossible to do the valsalva. It is popping in my left ear, but NOT my right ear.
And when the ear gets more clogged because of the blowing, the tinnitus gets higher... If I am not doing the valsalva at night, the tinnitus is getting so intense. In the moment I am blowing (when I feel the ears are totally clogged and hold the pressure) the tinnitus goes always up and then back to normal.
My GP said that I have to try Nasonex (Mometasone) nasal spray because of (probably) problems with my eustachian tubes.
Have you guys got any thoughts?
Thank you!
