Hi @Michael Leigh,
Sorry to revive this old forum thread, but I have a question about your experiences with PC noise.
When your old PC was making your tinnitus worse, was the fan noise particularly loud?
I'm asking because my tinnitus has been worse recently, and I suspect my PC might be contributing to it. However, my fans don't seem very loud at all, and I'm using an SSD.
On the other hand, I do have OCD, a mental health condition involving intrusive thoughts and stress. It's possible that I was preemptively worried the PC would worsen my tinnitus, and now I'm hyper-focused on it, which could be making it seem worse.
I'm struggling to figure out whether the issue is actually related to my newly upgraded PC or if it's just my mind worrying and focusing on it. Any guidance or insight would be greatly appreciated.
