Considering Going for a tDCS Study in Dallas?

So I was thinking about flying out to Dallas to undergo a tdcs study. I live in Indiana so this is a major step for me. Does anyone know anything about this type of treatment? I read online that past studies werent that good. Just wondering if it's worth the trip.

Is it the Cranial depression one ?
I have read about it but not sure if the study showed a positive tinnitus release long term .
Good luck if you decide to go for it .
My only view is tinnitus can be caused through lots of reasons and with trials the treatment ends once the trial stops how ever helpful it was and not sure what the cost would be to you,but that's a personal thing you don't need to tell us about but would be interested in ..... lots of love glynis

Just read back at some of your past posts so can see where your up to.
Your tinnitus was noise induced and you have two it three sounds with fluctuating tinnitus so very mixed days is that still the same Dubbyman ?....do you take any medication ?

Yeah its still the same cycle. I take anti anxiety medication (clonazapam) every once in a while.

The TDCS treatment is mainly used for depression but as they are doing trials for tinnitus but nothing yet proven .
Have you ever tried maskers that play white noise set below your tinnitus ?
Just trying see whats available to you in your county ...lots of love glynis

Yeah I have a masker to help me sleep but that doesn't stop the sound. The USA has a poor health care system. Always has.
