Okay so first of all I have not had tinnitus for so long; 4-6 weeks. And I got it from a bang.
And for a couple of weeks ago I went to do some freediving and when I came home I couldn't hear the T even when I held my ears. But after some seconds I started to hear it again. And I tried this similar thing to the Back to Silence post. I did not think about the tinnitus I just ignored it. But I need to have some background sounds so I can't hear it and then turn it off and when I do it's completely silent.
But when I start to think about it it comes back. So all I need to do is just try to forget that I have tinnitus. And then I can't hear it.
As I'm writing this I could first not hear it but now I can.
Is this something that has happened to you like a break from tinnitus.
I am not afraid in any way, only glad that I almost can control it.
Now it feels like I need to stop thinking about it again to be free from tinnitus.
