I've had my intrusive tinnitus for 5 months now. I have blamed (rightly or wrongly) medication for a chest infection. The thing is within a couple of weeks my symptoms started to return. I am not fully convinced it actually was an infection. I told my ENT these symptoms had returned and he brushed it off as hay fever. I still have symptoms of coughing, runny nose and my eye weeps occasionally. I constantly feel as though I have bad catarrh in my throat.
The thing is it is coming into winter now hardly a time for hay fever and yet I still have the symptoms I had before being treated for a chest infection. I don't feel unwell at all.
I was wondering if this could be anything that is contributing to my tinnitus.
I also came home from a short 2 hr flight last Thursday and my tinnitus has been absolutely terrible since.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks, and hoping most of you are managing a little peace
