Hi,
I experienced SSHL around two months ago and through chatting in the forum thought I might have PLF. I researched this condition online (healthline.com) and I tick all the boxes.
It says if you have PLF you need to get bed rest for at least six weeks, and don't do any strenuous activities.
Unfortunately since realising I had hearing loss/tinnitus I've continued to go to the gym and do very strenuous mountain biking (my tinnitus gets worse after this, I thought it was blood pressure).
My question is if I do have PLF, have I missed the window of opportunity to fight it i.e. take it easy, don't fly (currently on break, will be flying back tomorrow).
I've also had an MRI, would that not have shown a PLF problem with my ear?
Thanks.
