Country Music Thread

AH! BEST THREAD EVER! Can't wait to not be at work so I can actually watch all the videos (youtube is blocked )

Humble & Kind is definitely one of my favourites. I also can't wait to play Dan Davidson's - Found on my wedding day

Yeah threefire four I understand and feel that way about other music. But I wouldn't be rude about it. Don't click and listen and you will be fine.

Thank you so much devonlee I appreciate that you love Humble and Kind. It is also one of my favorites especially the video which I think is beautiful and the message about not to forget to turn around and help the next one in line.

For those who helped another and saved a life. It matters.

I miss Brooks and Dunn. Above is one of my favorites. Glad there are other country music people Jim!

I thought I was annoying people.

I tried to post a couple Willie Nelson old songs but the sound quality sucked...

So here is a Garth Brooks favorite:

I like some of the fun and silly country songs and videos. I remember being at a Toby Keith concert (outside) and he played a lot of what he refers to as bus songs. This one was funny at the time:

Then this serious one is a favorite also:

I really like the stories and songs especially when you can feel the artist sings with life experience. There isn't any tech stuff going on to produce the emotion of a song. Guess that is why I chose the ones on the first page here.

Hey this is a pretty nice post you've got here. It would be a shame if someone-

Hey you little egg thrower!!! : )

I know I hate tormenting you with country music. Sorry....

Awww.... Cool!! Yeah some country is pretty good. But I know what you mean about it reminding you of the red neck neighbor from hell.

Oh...maybe you habituated?

Yeah, because that's when they really put their hearts into it.

Additionally, we sometimes have had the very same experience ourselves and relate to their words and feelings. Such as the one you posted on page one by Ben Harper - "Goodbye To You."
Been there done that.

Yes. Me too, Jim.

Also love the Oak Ridge Boys. I had forgotten them. Just a bit before my time but true country. Love the second one a lot. First time I have listened to it.

Back to deep thinking songs because that is my mood today.
